PLEASE USE A DIFFERENT DELIVERY COURIER SERVICE!

I wonder why any company would use this shipper to ship their products. I ordered a laptop from Dell. The first delivery attempt the driver couldn't find the house! HELLO! The number is in BIG numbers right on the front!! What, are they blind? After 2 days and countless phone calls asking them where my package was (they lost it and couldn't find it in their facility) they attempted to find the house again (apparently they don't have GPS or even a computer for Mapquest) only to not be able to find it again. Who works for this company? Maybe they hire the blind. Finally on the third attempt, the driver found the house, only to leave my new laptop right out in the POURING rain all day until my girlfriend got home at 5 after work!!!! WTF??? I spent countless hours on the phone with these derelicts, and then after 5 days get a rain soaked box. Luckily the computer was wrapped in plastic and not ruined. I'll never order anything from any company that uses these incompetent clowns again!!!!

If DELL has now made DHL their main delivery service, they should certainly reconsider. I have ordered from DELL in the past, when they used another delivery service. I always received my items before the expected delivery date. The delivery of my latest order from DELL was very disappointing and horrible, which is through DHL. It took 2 days for the items to be delivered from California to Williston, Vermont. It has now sat there for 3 days, waiting to be delivered to the Plattsburgh, NY area (about 30 miles away). I called after the second day at the Williston facility, and DHL promised that the package was on the truck and would be delivered the following day. After not receiving it the next day, I called again and was told that they couldn't fit the package on the truck. I asked if I could pick it up myself, but the facility is closed on Saturday and since Monday is a holiday, the package will not be delivered until the following Tuesday. It is outrageous that this package should sit at the Williston, Vermont facility for almost a week before it is finally delivered. This is 1 day after DELL promised its delivery. I really do not have any faith that it will be delivered on the Tuesday that is being promised! I will make sure that I never order anything again from anyone who uses DHL as a delivery service and will also make sure that any of my acquaintances knows how horrible this service is

In the future, if I order from a company that uses DHL as their carrier service, I will just cancel my order. It's just not worth the aggravation. About 4 weeks ago I ordered a printer from Dell, and unfortunately, Dell uses DHL for their carrier service. I received the first notice that the carrier stopped by my house, and I called the local DHL office that same day to tell them that I would stop by the next day before close to pick up my printer. When I went to pick up the printer the next day after work, I was told that my printer was back on the truck, and that a second delivery had been attempted. Well, that made me angry because I had left specific instructions not to attempt a second delivery because I would pick it up. Well, before I left the office, I requested AGAIN that a delivery attempt not be made, and I would come to pick it up. Funny thing is, when I got home I did not see a notice on my door even though DHL claimed they made another delivery attempt. I went back the next day during lunch, and I was told that a third attempt had been made earlier that morning, and because that had been the third attempt, they sent my printer back to Dell. I was pissed, and I made sure to let them know in a nice/nasty way that I was not pleased and that I would file a complaint. Well, the manager was just as much a numbscull as the employees that worked for him. I asked him what he planned to do about my printer, and he just stood there looking dumb and told me that there was nothing he could do and that I'd have to take that problem up with Dell. No one wants to take responsibility anymore when mistakes are made. I predict that with this type of customer service, I give it about another 5 years and that company will definitely be out of business.

Dell ships their computers with DHL. When I tried to have my computer shipped in for warranty repair I called in to dell and the box promptly appeared the next day. I then called the DHL number and asked where the closest location was that I could drop off my computer. I was told a small shopping center nearby had a DHL contracted shipping company that I could drop the package off at. I took my package down, the man at the counter was very helpful and took my computer in its box to be shipped by DHL. That was three weeks ago. My computer hasnt been seen since. DHL says that 1. none of their associates would have told me that the particular shop I dropped my box off at was a DHL store because it is in fact a UPS contract store and 2. They cannot and will not help me find my $1200 computer that they told me the wrong drop off location for. Worst carrier and service EVER.

DHL is BS! Ordered an overnight package two days ago, and it's still not here. Tracking data say it left a city in Utah 15 HOURS AGO! IT'S ON A PLANE!!! WHERE IS IT?!?! WHAT FLIGHT TAKES 15 HOURS?! The package was shipped out from Mississippi during early afternoon. When I pay money for overnight service, I EXPECT overnight service. I've NEVER had this problem with UPS, USPS, or FedEx. Will not use DHL again! This crap happens at work, too. We order replacement parts or computers from Dell, and they ship them DHL. What are they trying to do? Save a buck? DHL takes on average 3 days longer than the other guys. Screw you DHL!

k first of let me say that the one star is way 2 much for this very bad service. i ordered a laptop from dell that was supposed to be delivered on 02/04/08 and keep in mind that i have a flight the next day to France for a conference.because of that i decided to wake up at 6 am and wait for him ...at 7am i called the DHL(Milwaukee) to ask about my package as iv been tracking it all night to be told that it wont be delivered today ...but instead its going to be delivered tomorrow morning ..so keeping calm i was like thats okay and i scheduled a pickup for tomorrow morning so i can pick it up before i go to the airport .15 min later i decided to track it again and guess what (delivery attempt failed)..WTF...they just told me that it wont be delivered today ...not only that i was up sitting on my computer by the window doing work ...when the F*#k did he come ...so i went outside ..no tacking paper ..nothing ...so i called DHL again and they told me they tried to deliver it blah blah blah ...so i asked to talk to a manger which by far the most stupidest conversation ever ....he actually told me that they well try to ask the driver for a second attempt..which is great , but when i asked him if i should expect a call back he said no ...WTF ..so i asked if i should call back ...and guess what kind of awesome answer did he give me ...no because i am leaving in an hour ..what the hell...its 1 pm ...????? so i asked him for a corporate number and guess what ..he actually gave me a fast food number...at this point iam so angry iam going to call dell and if they don't sort this out iam not going to accept the package ...DON'T EVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN ...

This is the second time DHL has failed to deliver a package to me. Both times I was unaware that the company I was purchasing from used them as their shipping company. The first time I ordered a package overnight. When I came home from work expecting my package to be waiting for me on the porch, it was not. I checked the tracking number online and indeed it had not been delivered. I decided I would give it one more day, even though I had paid for overnight. The next day it had still not arrived. I checked the tracking number again and it was stated that it could not be delivered due to weather-what??!! It rained....big deal. The next day I still had not received my package and when I checked the tracking it said it had been deliverd-BS!! I called customer service (if you can call it that) and was told that the package was waiting at one of their centers. I told them I would just come in and pick it up. They assured me they would send a message to the center to hold it. When I arrived the next day to pick it up I waited almost 45 minutes just to be told that my package wasn't there-"it must be on the van out for delivery"-words cannot describe how mad I was. I finally got my package the next day-grrrr. I am now going through my second experience with DHL. I ordered a scanner from Dell because I need it for school (I take online classes and often have to scan items to submit). I ordered the scanner from Dell on 12/17. When I was checking out they were offering free two day shipping-why not I thought-its free. Big mistake-Dell did not attempt to deliver my package until 12/31, but I was not at home to sign for the package. They left a note and I called customer service. Since I could not pick a time frame for DHL to deliver my package (like most companies let you do) I told them I would just come and pick up my package. The lady at customer service told me she would send a message to that location to hold my package and that someone from there would be contacting me within the hour. Today is January 9th and I have yet to hear from someone. I just checked my tracking online and apparently they attempted to deliver the package to the pick up location on January 3rd, but it was closed. I can't believe they don't even know what times their own centers are open!! They finally delivered it yesterday 01/08 and it is supposed to be waiting for me. We'll see...... I think DHL has managed to hire the most incompetent people possible!!!

There are hundreds more found online. I will not be ordering from Dell again if they continue to use DHL. It's 3:24pm & my package is not out for delivery, despite the fact that it was scheduled for delivery today.
